SEC Reprimands, Fines Kentucky Coach Mark Pope

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) has issued a public reprimand and a $25,000 fine to University of Kentucky men’s basketball coach Mark Pope.

This disciplinary action is in response to Pope's post-game conduct and comments concerning officiating. These actions occurred after the Wildcats’ game at Auburn University on February 21.
