Wolf Rescued from Canal in Northern Italy

Firefighters successfully rescued a wolf from a canal in San Giovanni Lupatoto, a town located in the Veneto region of northern Italy. The animal had sought refuge under a footbridge to escape the flowing waters.

The sedated female wolf was transferred to veterinarians for care, with its release into the wild anticipated following recovery.
