Anastasia The Musical Commences National Tour in Perth

The first Australian production of Anastasia The Musical commenced its national tour with an opening at Crown Theatre Perth on Thursday night.

Inspiration and Narrative

The musical draws inspiration from the 1997 animated movie Anastasia. The narrative is based on the historical account and legend surrounding Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov's supposed escape from the 1918 execution of her family during the Russian Revolution.
