Taskforce Morpheus conducted coordinated raids on outlaw motorcycle gangs across Australia and New Zealand. The operations, carried out simultaneously yesterday, involved local and federal police, Australian Border Force, and the Criminal Intelligence Commission.
The raids primarily targeted alleged members of the Comancheros outlaw motorcycle gang.
Fifty-one search warrants were executed at various locations nationally. These actions led to the seizure of items including machetes, knuckle dusters, ammunition, and illicit substances.
Authorities reported 56 arrests and a total of 168 charges were laid as a result of the operation.
Targets of the raids included the homes, clubhouses, and vehicles associated with outlaw gangs.
