Brisbane Lions Unveil Opening Round Team for Bulldogs Clash

The Brisbane Lions have announced their team selection for the Opening Round match against the Western Bulldogs on Saturday night, featuring new faces and key returns.

Debutants and New Recruit Confirmed

New recruit Oscar Allen and debutant Zane Zakostelsky are scheduled to play their first game for the Lions at the Gabba.

Key Returns to the Line-up

Keidean Coleman has been selected to play his first AFL game since Round 14, 2025.

Ruck Darcy Fort and Dayne Zorko will participate in the game against the Bulldogs, both having been rested during the AAMI Community Series match against the Gold Coast.

Ryan Lester, who missed the Lions' final practice match due to concussion, will return to the backline.
