Bears Acquire Center Garrett Bradbury from Patriots

The Chicago Bears have acquired center Garrett Bradbury from the New England Patriots in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round draft pick.

Bradbury started all 17 regular-season games and four postseason games for the Patriots during the previous season. The Patriots are projected to save nearly $6 million in salary cap space as a result of the trade.

The Bears moved to acquire Bradbury following the retirement of their center, Drew Dalman.

Patriots' Future at Center

Jared Wilson, a 2025 third-round pick who played guard for the Patriots as a rookie and center in college at Georgia, is anticipated to become the Patriots' starting center in 2026.

This transaction cannot be officially completed until the new league year commences on Wednesday.
