The renaming serves as a tribute to two pioneering female engineers in Formula 1: Laura Mueller and Hannah Schmitz.

Laura Mueller is the race engineer for Esteban Ocon at Haas, serving as the primary contact between the driver and the team. She became the first woman to hold a full-time race engineer role in 2025.

Hannah Schmitz: Red Bull's Strategic Success

Hannah Schmitz, the head of race strategy at Red Bull, joined the team in 2009. She played a significant role in the team's achievements in 2022 and 2023 and is one of only eleven women to have appeared on a Formula 1 podium.
