Malik Willis, who spent two years as a backup quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, has signed a three-year contract to be the starting quarterback for the Miami Dolphins.

The agreement is valued at $22.5 million annually.

The contract includes a two-year commitment with a total payout of $45 million.

Contract Terms

The terms of the deal are as follows:

  • Signing Bonus: $22.5 million.
  • 2026 Base Salary: $1.25 million, fully guaranteed.
  • 2027 Base Salary: $21.5 million, fully guaranteed.
  • 2028 Offseason Roster Bonus: $2 million.
  • 2028 Base Salary: $20.5 million.

The contract includes a two-year commitment with a total payout of $45 million. The third year is at the team's discretion, activated by a $2 million trigger on the third day of the league year.

The average annual value of the contract is $22.5 million.
