Gamo Zone: 30 Lives Lost in Landslides and Floods

A regional government official reported the loss of 30 lives due to landslides and floods in the highlands of Gamo Zone.

Tilahun Kebede, representing himself and the regional government, expressed sorrow over the fatalities in a statement published on Facebook late on Tuesday.

Heavy rains were identified as the cause of the landslides and floods.
