Farooq Abdullah is a five-time chief minister of Indian-administered Kashmir. He currently serves as the president of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference, a prominent regional political party.

Statements and Security Questions

Omar Abdullah, Farooq Abdullah's son and the current chief minister, posted on social media following the incident.

"My father had a very close shave," Omar Abdullah stated, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.
