Thirteen years after its initial seizure, the object arrived in France in 1929.

Following its arrival, the item was subsequently displayed in various Parisian museums. It was initially put on display at the Trocadéro Museum in Paris. Subsequently, the object was moved and exhibited at the Quai Branly Museum, also located in Paris.
