Dubai Residents Express Shock, Yet Plan to Stay

The BBC recently conducted interviews with over 20 residents in Dubai, gathering perspectives from a diverse group comprising individuals who have lived in the city for decades and those who arrived more recently.

The majority of these residents reported being shocked by recent events. This sentiment was widespread across the interviewees.

Despite this prevailing sentiment of shock, nearly all interviewed individuals stated they have no plans to depart from Dubai. Their commitment to the city appears to remain firm, even amidst their reactions to recent occurrences.
