Red Bull's Max Verstappen qualified in eighth position. He communicated to Sky Sports that his car presents challenges, stating, "Every lap is a fight," and describing it as "difficult, survival."
"I'm not enjoying it at all," Verstappen added, reflecting on his qualifying performance.
McLaren's Qualifying Assessment
McLaren driver Lando Norris indicated that the team had additional potential, acknowledging an error on his final qualifying lap.
Team-mate Oscar Piastri noted that McLaren is "a little bit behind" and experiencing a "lacking in grip."
