Former Grange Hill Actor John Alford Found Deceased in Prison

John Alford, a former actor widely known for his role in the children's drama Grange Hill, has been found deceased just weeks into his prison sentence.

Alford was serving an eight-and-a-half-year term at HMP Bure.

His incarceration was for the sexual assault of two girls, aged 14 and 15.
