Child Airlifted After Vehicle Strikes Six-Year-Old on K'gari Beach
A six-year-old girl was airlifted to the Queensland Children’s Hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Orchid Beach at K’gari. The incident occurred near the Rangers Station around 10:50 am on Monday, March 16.
Emergency services responded to reports of a child being run over on the sand. Paramedics treated the girl at the scene, and she was transported in a stable condition.
The girl sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police stated that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
