Etienne Davignon, 93, Accused in Lumumba Case

Etienne Davignon, aged 93, is accused of involvement in the unlawful detention and transfer of Patrice Lumumba. These allegations also encompass his alleged role in Lumumba's degrading treatment.

At the time of these alleged events, Davignon was a trainee diplomat.

He later served as a vice-president of the European Commission.
