Search Resumes for Missing Kayaker North of Adelaide

Police and emergency services will recommence a search for a kayaker who went missing overnight north of Adelaide. Relatives of the man, aged in his 70s, contacted police just before 11 PM on Tuesday after he failed to return from Middle Beach, located 40 kilometers from Adelaide.

Initial Overnight Search

SA Police's Water Operations, Polair with an infrared camera, and Volunteer Marine Rescue began searching the Gulf St Vincent immediately. Despite their extensive efforts, the man was not found overnight.

Search Continues Today

The search is scheduled to continue at first light today. Multiple agencies are involved in the ongoing operation.

Police are urging anyone with information or who spots a kayak in the area to contact them.
