Incidents and Casualties

Two individuals, a man and a woman in their 70s, died in Ramat Gan after being struck by shrapnel from missile interceptions early Wednesday morning, as reported by Magen David Adom.

Five additional individuals sustained light wounds during the incident, according to Israeli police.

Israeli media sources reported eight suspected shrapnel impact sites following the missile barrage across the area. Within Ramat Gan specifically, five major impact sites were recorded by the district's municipality.

Infrastructure Damage

  • Tel Aviv Savidor Center train station sustained damage to its platforms from shrapnel.

    • As a result, train services to and from the station have been suspended. Shuttle services are now operating between Herzliya, Tel Aviv Savidor Center, and Ben Gurion Airport.
  • A Magen David Adom (MDA) vehicle operating in central Israel was also hit by shrapnel.

Response and Public Advisories

IDF Search and Rescue forces are operating at multiple sites across central Israel where impacts were reported. Concurrently, firefighting teams have been deployed to several districts in the Dan area, including Ramat Gan and the Savidor train station.

Ramat Gan Mayor Carmel Shama Hacohen commented on the severity of the multi-launch barrage and its significant impact on the city. He urged the public to follow safety instructions closely.
