Three Palestinian Women Killed in West Bank Missile Attack

Three Palestinian women were killed in a missile attack in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported.

This marks the first deadly Iranian strike in the area, and the first to result in Palestinian casualties, since the start of the US-Israeli conflict with Iran.

The missiles impacted a hair salon in the town of Beit Awwa, southwest of Hebron. A fourth Palestinian sustained serious injuries, according to WAFA, the Palestinian Authority’s official news agency.

Israeli Military Cites Cluster Munition

The Israeli military stated its understanding that the strike was caused by a cluster munition, a warhead designed to disperse multiple smaller bomblets over an area.

Broader Toll in US-Israeli Conflict with Iran

Since Israel and the US launched attacks on Iran at the end of February, at least 14 individuals have been killed in Israel.
