Theta Chi International CEO Expresses Grief
Mike Mayer, CEO of Theta Chi International Fraternity, released a statement expressing grief over Gracey's passing.
Mayer noted that Gracey served his chapter as both Chaplain and Philanthropy Chairman. He described these roles as reflecting Gracey's deep faith, care for others, and commitment to his community.
He acknowledged the significant efforts of Gracey's fraternity brothers who conducted a search in Barcelona and recognized the traumatic experience for all involved. The fraternity encouraged its collegiate members to utilize available mental health resources.
