Robert Levine and his wife utilized ChatGPT to facilitate the sale of their Cooper City, Florida, residence. The AI system assisted with marketing, planning, pricing, and negotiation, leading to a signed contract for $954,800.

This sale price reportedly exceeded initial estimates from real estate agents by $100,000. Levine indicated that real estate professionals he consulted lacked confidence in pricing, whereas ChatGPT provided insights that supported a higher valuation.

AI's Role in the Sale

ChatGPT advised on granular aspects of the home-selling process. This included recommendations for property updates, such as specific walls to repaint, and scheduling home viewings to accommodate Levine's availability.

The property was shown to 15 prospective buyers, with one-third submitting applications.

Democratizing the Process

Levine, who is CEO of the strategic consulting firm ComOps, stated that the method used for selling his home is attainable for individuals who may be less tech-savvy. He characterized interacting with ChatGPT as a conversation rather than a coding exercise.

Limitations and Complementary Role

Despite the AI's extensive involvement, Levine remained actively engaged, providing prompts for instructions. He also opted to hire a lawyer for legal processes.

The technology could not perform physical duties like hosting open houses or managing the packing of belongings.

Levine suggests that AI does not entirely replace professionals but enables individuals to approach major decisions with greater confidence and curiosity.
