An incident occurred in Arad, a city in southern Israel located near the country's main nuclear research center, prompting a response from Israeli rescue services. Casualties and Emergency Response
Rescue services reported four serious injuries, including a 4-year-old girl, and 29 minor injuries. Authorities are currently searching for unaccounted individuals.
Magen David Adom, Israel’s emergency service, stated that 59 patients were transported to hospitals.
Background
This incident follows a previous threat from Iran on Saturday to target Israel’s nuclear program. This threat was issued in response to a strike on Iran's Natanz nuclear enrichment center.
