Saturday Night Live UK Debuts with Wet Leg and Tina Fey

The inaugural episode of Saturday Night Live UK premiered on March 21. British indie-rock band Wet Leg performed as the musical guest, playing “Mangetout” and “Catch These Fists” alongside host Tina Fey.

The new series, which airs on Sky TV in the UK, is also scheduled to premiere on Peacock.

Upcoming Saturday Night Live UK Episodes

Jamie Dornan and Riz Ahmed are set to host the subsequent two episodes of the UK series. Wolf Alice and Kasabian are scheduled as musical guests.

The debut cast for the series includes Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi, and Paddy Young.

Original Saturday Night Live on Hiatus

The original Saturday Night Live, currently in its 51st season, is on hiatus.

The next episode, scheduled for April 4, will feature Jack Black as host and Jack White as the musical guest. Other musical guests this season have included Harry Styles, Gorillaz, Geese, and A$AP Rocky.

Wet Leg's Album "Moisturizer" and Grammy Recognition

Wet Leg released their album "Moisturizer" in 2025, which followed their 2022 self-titled debut.

"Moisturizer" received three nominations at the 2026 Grammys, including Best Alternative Music Album and Best Alternative Music Performance.
