Service Station Attendant Seriously Injured in Armadale Petrol Drive-Off
A male service station attendant sustained serious facial injuries after being struck by a vehicle during a petrol drive-off incident in Armadale, Perth.
Police responded to the Vibe service station on Forrest Road in Armadale around 1 PM on Monday. Reports indicated that a man filled his dark-colored sedan with fuel and attempted to leave the premises without paying.
As a male service station attendant, aged in his 30s, attempted to intervene and stop the vehicle, he was tragically struck and injured.
The injured attendant was transported to Royal Perth Hospital by paramedics. The driver of the sedan fled the scene and remains at large.
Authorities are now requesting public assistance. They are urging anyone with information about a dark-colored sedan exhibiting damage to its windscreen and bonnet to contact Crime Stoppers.
