Blood Pact Studios, the developer and publisher of the game Retro Rewind, has announced that the title reached a significant sales milestone and unveiled its first development roadmap.

In a Steam post, Blood Pact reported that Retro Rewind sold 100,000 copies, achieving this figure within a few days of its announcement. The two-person development team expressed appreciation for the player support, noting that it contributed to achieving their goal after nearly two years of work on the project.

Development Roadmap

Alongside the sales figures, Blood Pact revealed the initial Retro Rewind roadmap, detailing upcoming additions to the game:

  • Backroom storage
  • VHS repair station
  • Controller integration
  • Ability to rent out video games
  • Additional decorations
  • New music
  • Other unlockable content

Blood Pact confirmed that all future updates will be free. The studio stated that despite Retro Rewind being a full release rather than an Early Access title, there are no plans to charge for future content, with the objective of enhancing the video store simulation experience for all players.
