RLWC2026 Team of the Week: New Faces Emerge as Kangaroos Stars Miss Out

The latest RLWC2026 Team of the Week is set to feature new players, as Kangaroos stars Harry Grant, Latrell Mitchell, and Cameron Murray were not shortlisted for the first time.

Players from the NRL and Super League are nominated weekly for fans to vote on the Team of the Week, which is drawn from athletes in contention for the Rugby League World Cup 2026. The team is announced every Wednesday.

Grant, Mitchell, and Murray had topped polling in their respective positions after the opening two rounds. However, they were not nominated following the weekend's Round 3 NRL and Round 5 Super League matches.
