Rabbitohs Finalize Four-Year Home Game Agreement with Venues NSW

The South Sydney Rabbitohs, Venues NSW, and the NSW Minister for Sport, Stephen Kamper, have finalized an agreement for the club's home games over the next four years. This significant deal secures the club's presence in Sydney's major stadiums.

A total of 47 home games are scheduled to be played at Allianz Stadium in Moore Park and Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park from 2026 to 2030. Crucially, the agreement also includes at least one away game for the Rabbitohs at each stadium annually, ensuring consistent engagement with both venues.

This deal outlines a gradual increase in matches at Allianz Stadium, representing a return to the club's traditional area, while maintaining a presence at Accor Stadium until the end of the 2030 season.

Home Game Distribution (2026-2030)

The agreement details a clear distribution of home games across the specified venues:

  • 2026: 7 games at Accor Stadium, 2 games at Allianz Stadium, 3 games outside Venues NSW network.
  • 2027: 7 games at Accor Stadium, 4 games at Allianz Stadium, 1 game outside Venues NSW network.
  • 2028: 7 games at Accor Stadium, 5 games at Allianz Stadium, 0 games outside Venues NSW network.
  • 2029: 7 games at Accor Stadium, 5 games at Allianz Stadium, 0 games outside Venues NSW network.
  • 2030: 7 games at Accor Stadium, 5 games at Allianz Stadium, 0 games outside Venues NSW network.

The agreement was confirmed by key figures including Rabbitohs Chairman Nicholas Pappas AM, NSW Premier Chris Minns, Minister for Sport Steve Kamper, and Venues NSW Chair David Gallop. They emphasized the deal's dual benefits: increasing home matches in Sydney for Rabbitohs fans and recognizing the historical importance of both Accor Stadium and Allianz Stadium to the club.
