Clicks Technology has announced two new hardware products ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas: the Communicator smartphone and the Power Keyboard accessory. The Communicator is the company's debut smartphone, designed with a physical keyboard and intended for productivity-focused users. The Power Keyboard is a slide-out physical keyboard accessory compatible with multiple devices.
Clicks Communicator Smartphone
The Clicks Communicator is a smartphone equipped with a physical keyboard, positioned for users who prioritize messaging, emailing, and document creation. The device is configured to support productivity applications and minimize the integration of social media and gaming applications.
Key Features:
- Physical Keyboard: Features tactile, ergonomic keys designed for typing efficiency. The keys also support touch input for content navigation without direct screen interaction. The design includes a curved chin intended to protect the keys when the phone is placed face down. The keys and touchscreen are positioned at the same vertical height to facilitate transitions between input methods.
- Signal Light: A customizable light-up button on the device's side. It can display different colors and patterns to indicate messages from specific contacts, groups, or applications.
- Prompt Key: This button is designed for dictating messages in a text field or recording voice notes. The company has indicated potential future integration with AI applications for functions such as note-taking or voice recording.
- Legacy Features: Includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a physical SIM card tray alongside eSIM support, and a tactile switch that can be configured for airplane mode or to interact with the Signal Light or keyboard input.
- Storage Expansion: Expandable microSD storage up to 2TB.
- Customization: The back cover is removable, allowing for style changes with different colored covers. Available phone colors include Smoke, Clover (dark green), and Onyx.
- Security: Features a fingerprint scanner and is Android Strongbox-ready.

Pricing and Availability:
The Communicator is priced at $499. An early-bird price of $399 is available for customers who place a $199 deposit before February 27. Those paying the full early-bird price upfront will receive two additional back covers. Shipments are projected for later this year, with one report specifying the second half of 2026.
According to the company's chief marketing officer and co-founder, Jeff Gadway, early reception for both new products has exceeded expectations, with a sale occurring every 6.5 seconds in the past week. Clicks CEO Adrian Li stated that the company has previously shipped over 100,000 of its earlier keyboards across more than 100 countries.
Clicks Power Keyboard
Clicks Technology also introduced the Power Keyboard, a slide-out physical keyboard accessory. It is designed for attachment to smartphones, tablets, or use with smart TVs, providing an alternative to on-screen typing.

- Power Source: Features a built-in 2,150 mAh battery, functioning as a magnetic wireless charging battery pack.
- Attachment: Connects to phones via MagSafe or Qi2 magnetic connections and is compatible with existing phone cases. It is compatible with iPhones and Androids supporting Qi2.
- Versatility: Supports multiple slider positions to accommodate various phone sizes and can be attached with the phone held in either portrait or landscape mode.
- Independent Use: Functions independently as a standalone Bluetooth keyboard when paired with tablets, smart TVs, or AR/VR headsets.
- Customization: Features tactile buttons, with settings customizable via the Clicks mobile app, available on iOS and Android.
Pricing and Availability:
The Power Keyboard is priced at $109, with an early-bird price of $79. Pre-orders began on January 2, and device shipments are anticipated in the spring.
