A plane crash near Galveston, Texas, has resulted in five fatalities. Two individuals were rescued and transported to an area hospital, while one person remains unaccounted for.
Sky Decker, a local yacht captain, transported two police officers to the site of the nearly submerged aircraft. He subsequently located and assisted an injured woman trapped within the wreckage.
The aircraft was on a medical transport mission for the Michou y Mau Foundation, an organization that provides care to Mexican children with severe burns. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation and has not yet been determined.
