Oppo Confirms Global Launch of Find X9 Ultra for April 21

The flagship model, featuring a Hasselblad quad-camera system and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, will be joined by a more compact Find X9s.

Oppo has officially announced the global launch date for its top-tier Find X9 Ultra smartphone. The device will debut on April 21, positioned as the flagship model within the Find X9 series.

Alongside the Ultra, the company confirmed the upcoming launch of the Find X9s, which it describes as featuring a more compact form factor. Further details on this model were not provided.

Design and Color Options

Ahead of the launch, Oppo shared official images revealing three color variants:

• Earth Tundra: A dark finish with a dual-tone design.
• Polar Glacier: A light blue finish.
• Sand Canyon: An orange finish with a textured back.

The design is characterized by a large circular camera module on the rear, housing four sensors and bearing Hasselblad branding. A now-deleted promotional video suggested a flat display with a centered punch-hole front camera.

The right side of the phone features a dedicated button, similar to the Find X9 Pro, which sources indicate is likely a quick-launch key for the camera.

Confirmed and Reported Specifications

Developed in partnership with Hasselblad, the quad-camera setup is confirmed to include:

• A 200MP Sony LYT-901 primary camera.
• A 200MP 3x periscope zoom camera.
• A 50MP 10x periscope zoom camera.
• A 50MP ultra-wide camera.

A listing on the Geekbench benchmarking platform indicates the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.

While not officially confirmed by Oppo, multiple sources report the phone may feature a substantial 7,050mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
