ASUS expands its gaming monitor lineup with two new ROG Strix displays: a secondary touchscreen and a high-refresh QD-OLED ultrawide.

Asus ROG Strix XG129C

The XG129C is a 12.3-inch touchscreen IPS display with a 720p resolution. It is intended as a secondary monitor, similar to the secondary display in the 2020 Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15. It competes with Corsair's Xeneon Edge, which has a 14.5-inch display but also 720p resolution.

  • Covers 125% of the sRGB color gamut and 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
  • Includes a one-year subscription for the hardware monitoring tool AIDA64 Extreme (typically $65).
  • Can be used as a performance monitor or as an extension for streaming or editing setups.

Asus ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMS

The XG34WCDMS is a 34-inch RGB Tandem QD-OLED gaming monitor.

  • 280Hz refresh rate.
  • Resolution: 3440 x 1440p.
  • Covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

Pricing for both monitors has not yet been announced.
