Samsung Unveils New Home Electronics and Enhanced AI at CES 2026
Samsung commenced CES 2026 with a press conference, introducing a range of new home electronics, including televisions, audio products, and projectors, alongside a focus on enhanced AI functionalities across its product portfolio. The company showcased a 130-inch Micro RGB concept television and detailed expansions to its Micro RGB TV line, alongside new wireless speakers, a soundbar, and an updated portable projector.
Televisions
Concept 130-inch Micro RGB TVSamsung presented a 130-inch Micro RGB television as a concept at CES 2026, indicating its potential technological capabilities rather than an immediate market release. This concept display features a large metal stand that encases the screen, allowing for slight tilting, a design element inspired by Samsung's "timeless gallery" stand from 2013. For wall mounting, the entire stand, which integrates part of the TV's speaker system, would require wall installation.
Advanced Micro RGB TechnologiesThe Micro RGB set incorporates an evolved form of Mini LED technology, designed to deliver enhanced color accuracy and richness. It is powered by the "Micro RGB AI Engine Pro" processor, which utilizes "Micro RGB Color Booster Pro" and "Micro RGB HDR Pro" technologies. These AI-driven features aim to refine contrast and enhance tones for detailed imagery across various brightness levels. The display also integrates Glare Free technology to mitigate reflections and supports HDR 10+ Advanced, alongside Samsung’s Eclipsa Audio system. Connectivity options include integration with Samsung’s Vision AI Companion, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity for conversational search functionalities.
Expanding Micro RGB and Micro LED LinesThe broader Micro RGB TV line, which previously debuted with a 115-inch model priced at approximately $30,000, is set to expand. The range will include new 55-, 65-, and 75-inch sizes, anticipated to be priced below the initial model, as well as 85-, 100-, and 115-inch versions. The Micro RGB range is reported to offer 100% coverage of the Rec.2020 color space. For consumers seeking displays with benefits associated with OLED technology, Samsung’s Micro LED sets are available, with prices starting from $110,000.
Audio Products
Music Studio Wireless SpeakersSamsung demonstrated new audio products, including the Music Studio wireless speakers, Studio 5 and Studio 7, which support both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The Studio 5 model features a four-inch woofer and dual tweeters. The Studio 7 incorporates a 3.1.1 setup with top-, front-, left-, and right-firing speakers, designed for a 3D audio experience. The design of these speakers was highlighted.
New HW-QS90H SoundbarA new soundbar model, the Samsung HW-QS90H, was also identified. This model is part of the HW-QS90 line and is an all-in-one 7.1.2 soundbar featuring 13 drivers, including four integrated woofers within its "Quad Bass Woofer system."
Projectors
The Freestyle+, Samsung's latest micro projector, was presented. This compact model features increased brightness and enhanced AI functionalities.
Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, stated that The Freestyle+ aligns with Samsung's objective to create displays adaptable to user lifestyles and movement between spaces, combining portability with intelligent AI for optimized viewing.
AI Integration
The press conference emphasized Samsung's integration of artificial intelligence across its product portfolio to enhance utility. Demonstrations included AI noise canceling for audio devices, AI functionality for displaying recipes on refrigerator screens, and AI features aimed at improving washing machine performance. Samsung positioned AI integration as a core feature of its upcoming products.
