Gameplay Overview

Adaptive triggers have dual functions (half-press and full-press). The game also incorporates 3D audio to enhance the game world.

The player character is Arjun, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli. The narrative draws inspiration from Robert W. Chambers' The King in Yellow, featuring the planet Carcosa, the color yellow, and a king.

According to Eurogamer's Rick Lane, the narrative "often feels at odds with the kind of experience it wants to be." The story is described by some critics as having a basic theme, avoiding satisfying answers, and featuring a final twist described as more frustrating than meaningful.
