Green Bay Packers 2026 Draft: Day 2 Recap & Day 3 Preview
The Green Bay Packers selected two players on the second day of the 2026 NFL Draft and will enter the final day with five remaining selections. The team currently holds picks in the fourth, fifth, and sixth rounds, along with two picks in the seventh round.
Day 2 Selections
The Packers made two selections on Friday, April 24:
- Pick 52 (Round 2): Cornerback Brandon Cisse
- Pick 77 (Round 3): Defensive tackle Chris McClellan
Cisse is expected to compete for playing time during the upcoming season. McClellan is described as a player who offers versatility along the defensive line.
Day 3 Draft Position
The Packers retained the following picks for Saturday's final day of the draft:
- One pick in the fourth round
- One pick in the fifth round (pick #153, acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles in a trade involving wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks)
- One pick in the sixth round
- Two picks in the seventh round
The team traded its own fifth-round selection (#160) to move up in the draft order to select McClellan.
According to Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst, the team attempted to trade into the end of the third round but was unable to find a trade partner.
Notable Prospects Still Available
Several players projected to be selected in earlier rounds remain available entering Day 3:
- Dani Dennis-Sutton, EDGE, Penn State: Recorded a Relative Athletic Score (RAS) of 9.96.
- Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee: Once considered a top prospect in the class. Gutekunst declined to comment on the player's medical history.
- Mike Washington, RB, Arkansas: Ranked 64th on the consensus big board and third among running backs. Ran a 4.33-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine.
- Brian Parker II, OL, Duke: Projected to move to center at the professional level. Allowed 19 pressures during the 2025 season and received an 88.2 grade from Pro Football Focus. Recorded a RAS of 9.76.
