The television series Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, a spinoff of The Big Bang Theory, was announced at CCXP Mexico City. The series is scheduled to premiere on HBO Max in July.
Plot and Setting
The narrative follows Stuart Bloom, a comic book store owner, as he attempts to fix a device he accidentally damaged. The device, originally invented by characters Sheldon Cooper and Leonard Hofstadter, triggers a "multiverse armageddon" that Stuart must then stop. The series also explores Stuart's relationship with the character Denise.

Chuck Lorre, co-creator of The Big Bang Theory franchise, described Stuart Bloom as "the absolute worst choice" to lead a spinoff, a quality he stated made the character the "perfect choice."
Lorre indicated he had always intended for Kevin Sussman to play the role. Sussman expressed surprise at being cast as the lead.
