Turtle Beach Launches Command Series: PC Peripherals with Integrated Touchscreens

Turtle Beach has announced a new line of PC peripherals called the Command Series, which includes mice and keyboards featuring integrated touchscreen displays. The series offers models at varying price points, with preorders currently open.

Keyboards

KB7 TKL Hall-Effect Wired Keyboard — $200

A 4.3-inch display sits where the numpad would typically be.

  • Global availability expected in May

KB5 Wired Mechanical Keyboard — $150

Features a 2.4-inch touchscreen located above the numpad.

  • Utilizes Titan low-profile mechanical switches with a 1.2mm actuation point and 3.1mm total travel
  • Supports an 8K polling rate with 0.125ms latency
  • Grey brushed metal chassis with copper accents and exposed screws
  • Volume barrel at the top left; five customizable menu buttons to the left of the main key layout
  • Touchscreen offers five programmable profiles, each with three pages and up to six virtual buttons per page — for a total of up to 18 shortcuts
  • Includes an optional plastic wrist rest and four textured WASD keycaps
  • Wired connection
  • Global availability expected in May

Mice

MC7 Wireless Mouse — $160

A 2.25-inch touch display bar is located on the left side, where a user's thumb might rest.

  • The display can be assigned customizable commands for macros, apps, and OBS controls
  • Includes dual hot-swappable 1,000mAh batteries
  • Battery life: up to 10 hours of use, or up to 15 hours with lighting disabled
  • Wireless connection
  • Global availability expected in July

Additional Mice

The Command Series includes two additional mice without touchscreens.

Software and Customization

  • The Turtle Beach Swarm II application (free download) allows customization of lighting, per-key illumination, and display features for compatible peripherals
  • The application also handles firmware updates
