"The capsule was flung approximately 300 feet into the air before crashing into the ride's steel structure."

Seville Emergency Service Department has confirmed that a cable snapped on the Steel Max bungee-style ride at Seville's Feria de Abril on Friday evening.

Four riders were injured in the incident, including two children. According to officials, the cable break caused the ride's capsule to be launched violently into the air before it collided directly with the ride's steel infrastructure.

Two adults sustained minor injuries and were treated on-site. The conditions of the injured children have not been specified in the initial report, but all four individuals received immediate medical attention at the scene.
