Professor David Ashley Appointed to New Role at WEHI

Renowned immuno-oncologist Professor David Ashley has been appointed to a new position at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI).

The appointment aims to enhance WEHI's collaboration within the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) Alliance, with a specific focus on brain cancer research and translation.

Expertise in Brain Cancer
Professor Ashley has shaped immunotherapy approaches for both pediatric and adult brain tumors. He has also led the translation of key discoveries into early-phase clinical trials.
