Ariana Grande Announces Eighth Album “Petal”

Release Date & Executive Team

Ariana Grande has officially announced the title and release date of her eighth studio album, “Petal.” The project is executive produced and co-written by Grande alongside Ilya (Ilya Salmanzadeh) .

The album is set to be released on July 31 via Republic Records.

The Meaning Behind the Album

Grande described the album as: "Something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging."

Who Is Ilya?

Ilya is a Swedish-Persian producer who worked extensively with hitmaker Max Martin. He co-produced and co-wrote much of Grande’s 2024 album “Eternal Sunshine,” and has also contributed to tracks by Taylor Swift and Sam Smith.

Tour & Future Plans

The album had been anticipated, as Grande had been posting photos from the studio. She also announced a summer tour, originally tied to “Eternal Sunshine,” which will likely feature the new album.

In a podcast interview last year, Grande stated that the tour could be her last for a long time, saying: “I do know that I’m very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long, long time.”
