Anthropic Launches Creative Software Connectors for Claude, Enters Blender Patronage

The Adobe connector allows Claude to use images, videos, and designs from Photoshop, Premiere, and Express.

Anthropic has released a new set of connectors for its AI chatbot, Claude, enabling direct integration with major creative software suites. The rollout covers Adobe Creative Cloud, Affinity, Blender, Ableton, and Autodesk, allowing Claude to access applications, retrieve data, and take actions within connected services.

Blender users gain a natural-language interface for the software's Python API through the new integration. Meanwhile, the Ableton connector allows Claude to answer user questions by referencing official documentation.

Anthropic stated that Claude cannot replace taste or imagination but can assist with ideation, expanding skills, and handling repetitive tasks.

Corporate Patronage for Blender

Anthropic has become a Corporate Patron of the Blender Development Fund, contributing at least €240,000 annually.

In a separate but related move, Anthropic has joined the Blender Development Fund as a Corporate Patron. The company will contribute at least €240,000 per year. Blender stated that this support will help maintain the independent development of the open-source 3D creation suite.
