Samsung has begun rolling out first-generation software updates for its Galaxy Buds 4 series and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro in South Korea. The updates focus on system stability and do not introduce new features.
Galaxy Buds 4 Series Update
Samsung has released the first software update for the Galaxy Buds 4 series. The update for the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro model carries firmware version R640XXU0AZD2. The version number for the standard Galaxy Buds 4 model has not been identified.
According to Samsung's official changelog, the update includes stability fixes only and introduces no new features. The update size is approximately 8 MB.
Users can check for the update on their Galaxy device by navigating to Settings and then Connected Devices.
Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Update
Samsung has also released a firmware update for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro in South Korea. The update size is 8.28 MB and carries firmware version R630XXU0AZD2.
The changelog states: "Stabilization code related to terminal operation has been applied."
Regional Rollout
Currently, both updates are available only in South Korea. Samsung typically releases software updates for its wearables first in South Korea before expanding to other regions.
Based on past rollout patterns, the updates may reach other countries, including the United States and Europe, within approximately one month. Samsung has not announced a specific release date for any other region.
