VFL coach Rhett McLennan reviewed the contributions of Melbourne's AFL-listed players following Casey's 27-point win over Richmond at Casey Fields.

Andy Moniz-Wakefield: 31 disposals, 6 tackles. His defensive pressure has improved.

Patrick Cross: 22 disposals, 9 marks. Completed first full game after thumb injury; had four shots on goal.

Jack Henderson: 19 disposals, 7 marks, 6 tackles. Consistent as an inside player.

Tom McDonald: 22 disposals, 10 marks. Provided defensive stability with spoiling and intercept marking.

Kalani White: 12 disposals, 13 hitouts, 3 clearances. Stepped into main ruck role; work in progress due to size and age.

Luker Kentfield: 2 goals, 13 disposals, 6 marks. Played as second ruck; strong intensity.

Jake Bowey: 15 disposals, 3 tackles, 3 marks; 50% time on ground. Efficient ball use.

Ricky Mentha Jnr: 16 disposals, 2 tackles. Two strong weeks in defence.

Jed Adams: 12 disposals, 1 tackle. Intercept marking and defensive desperation noted.

Riley Onley: 14 disposals, 5 marks. Best game in an unfamiliar defensive role.

Thomas Matthews: 2 goals, 9 disposals, 2 tackles. Applied defensive pressure; rotated through midfield.

Oscar Berry: 8 disposals, 3 marks. Improved defensive positioning.
