Analysis

Political analyst Peter Wickham described the result as "impressive" and attributed the outcome to disarray within the opposition.

"The opposition's inability to unify and defections contributed to the outcome." — Peter Wickham, Political Analyst

Wickham noted that opposition fragmentation played a decisive role, with the UPP and other parties failing to present a united front against the incumbent government.
