Free Flu Vaccination Clinics Open to All in Tamworth

No appointment is required, and people need not be existing patients.

Tamworth Aboriginal Medical Service (TAMS-AC) will hold a free community flu vaccination clinic on Saturday, 9 May, from 9am to 12pm at 180 Peel Street.

  • The clinic offers free flu vaccines, including FluMist nasal spray for eligible children.
  • Food will be provided for attendees.
  • No appointment is necessary—walk-ins are welcome.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to attend. The flu vaccine is free for all Aboriginal people aged six months and over. The clinic is open to the entire community.

Another clinic will be hosted by Armajun Aboriginal Health Service on Thursday, 7 May, from 10am to 2pm at the Living Together Centre, with morning tea and lunch provided.

These clinics are part of broader regional vaccination efforts. Additional opportunities are available at local Aboriginal Medical Services, general practices, pharmacies, or immunisation clinics.
