A bakery truck from Baltimore was struck by an airplane in New Jersey, according to the owner of H & S Bakery. The incident was recorded by the truck's dashcam.

The truck, operated by Schmidt Bakery under H & S Family of Bakeries, left Baltimore and was heading to a company depot in New Jersey near Newark Liberty International Airport. The driver sustained minor injuries from broken glass.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that a United Airlines Boeing 767 arriving from Venice, Italy, struck a light pole on the New Jersey Turnpike around 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, while approaching Newark Liberty International Airport.

The aircraft landed safely. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has launched an investigation.
