An 18-year-old suspect has been arrested, and authorities stated they are searching for at least one additional suspect. The incident, which occurred in a wooded area, prompted a complex overnight investigation.

Incident Details

The Edmond Police Department received multiple calls about shots fired around 9 p.m. CT at a large gathering of young adults at Spring Creek Park on Arcadia Lake. Police stated that the gathering was promoted on social media under the name "Sunday Funday" and did not have the required park reservations.

According to police, an argument between two women escalated into an altercation between rival gang members, during which multiple individuals discharged weapons. Authorities reported that over 80 rounds were fired.
