Post-race analysis revealed a critical violation by the driver of Car 3. Initially, limited video evidence prevented a clear decision on whether an infringement occurred. However, additional footage from other angles became available after the race.
The new footage showed the driver crossing the solid white pit exit line with the outside of the front left-hand tire during a full course yellow period. This violation was identified under Appendix L, Chapter IV, Article 6c) of the International Sporting Code.
