"All brands in the game are fictional, which eliminates the need for such partnerships."

GTA 6 Ditches Real-World Ads, Stays True to Satirical Roots

Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed at the iicon conference in Las Vegas that Grand Theft Auto 6 will not feature real-world brand partnerships or product placement.

Zelnick stated that all brands appearing in the game will be fictional, a decision he says helps maintain the integrity of the intellectual property and respects the audience. By avoiding real-world advertising, the studio can keep its creative vision unrestrained.

Fictional branding is a long-standing tradition of the GTA series, used to satirize real companies and consumer culture. This approach allows the game to parody everything from fast-food chains to tech giants without legal or commercial constraints.

No official release date for GTA 6 has been confirmed at this time.
