Royal Baby Announcement: Princess Eugenie Expecting Third Child
Buckingham Palace announced in May that Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their third child, due in summer 2025. The couple have two sons, August (aged 5) and Ernest (aged 2).
Family Attendance at Wedding
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank attended the wedding of her cousin, Peter Phillips, to Harriet Sperling in the Cotswolds. The princess wore a navy dress, fascinator, and heels. Their sons did not attend the ceremony. The couple arrived with Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Succession and Background
Princess Eugenie (36) is the second daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. She is 12th in line to the British throne. The upcoming child will be Queen Elizabeth II's 15th great-grandchild and will be placed at position 15 in the line of succession, after her older brother Ernest.
The princess married Jack Brooksbank in October 2018 at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
