Two Dead, Three Injured in Carrollton, Texas Shootings; Suspect Arrested
A series of shootings in Carrollton, Texas, on Tuesday left two people dead and three others injured. The suspect, identified as 69-year-old Seung Han Ho, was taken into custody and charged in connection with both incidents. Authorities stated the attack was not random, and the suspect has admitted to a motive related to financial disagreements.
Chronology of Events
The first shooting was reported at 9:57 a.m. at K Towne Plaza, a shopping center located in the 4000 block of State Highway 121. The incident took place inside the Gwang Jang Korean Market. One adult male was pronounced dead at the scene, and three other adults were found shot.
The second shooting was reported at 11:13 a.m. in the 2700 block of Old Denton Road, near the intersection of I-35 and the George Bush Turnpike. A second deceased adult male was found inside an apartment.
"The attack was not random," authorities stated. The suspect and victims knew each other and were meeting for a business purpose.
Suspect and Arrest
Seung Han Ho was arrested by police after a short foot chase that ended at a grocery store approximately 4 miles from the first scene. According to investigators, Ho confessed to shooting all five victims.

Two people were killed in the shootings. The three injured individuals are in stable condition. Police stated the incident is not being investigated as a hate crime.
The Carrollton Police Department, with assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Texas Department of Public Safety, is continuing the investigation. Evidence was collected at both scenes. As of the latest reports, it is not known if Ho has legal representation.

According to demographic data, the city's population includes over 25,000 residents who identify as Asian, of whom approximately 4,000 to 5,896 identify as Korean. Following the shootings, several businesses in the K Towne Plaza area were temporarily closed.
